Regular monthly meetings by the Executive Committee occur on the second Tuesday of the month. Times and locations can vary, but meetings typically start around 6pm.

Daviess County Sierra Club Monthly Meeting
Climate Change and Human Health
Professor and Sierra Club member, Dr. Nancy Flachskam, will discuss how climate change affects human health at the January 23, 2025 meeting of the Sierra Club/Pennyrile Group meeting.
Dr. Flachskam earned a Bachelor's degree from Kalamazoo College and holds Master's degrees in Organic Chemistry and Textiles and Clothing from The Ohio State University. She taught math, statistics and chemistry classes at Kentucky Wesleyan before retiring in 2015. Her current pastimes include swimming, quilting, sewing and reading.
There will be an opportunity to meet with Dr. Flachskam and other Sierrans for dinner prior to the meeting. Please contact Aloma Dew to be included in the reservation at a local downtown Owensboro restaurant.

Before every meeting, members meet for dinner, typically around 5:30PM. All are invited, even newcomers!
